Abhichandra Rajendra Hupare, that's my full name. I am mechanical engineer by qualification and currently working as a UI designer, Interactive designer and a usability enthusiast. Presently, I am based at Bangalore and working with Intel, as a Human Factors Engineer. Before joining Intel, I was working with companies like, Kanbay(now Capgemini), Convergys, Vertex software. I have played different roles in my past career, right from graphics designer to interactive designer to Design Team Lead and Human Factors Engineer.
I was born on 24 th October, in a city named Miraj which is located in Mahrashtra state of India . Miraj is approx. 450 kms from Mumbai (formerly Bombay ). It's a district place and is just 12 kms from Sangli.
My father, late Rajendra A Hupare, was a electrical
engineer from Walchand College , Sangli. In his
lifetime he had worked in various organizations,
in Nasik he was a executive engineer, in Pune he
was Project in-charge with the Kirloskars. He left this world, on 2 nd October 1979 . My mother Kalpana
R Hupare, returned back to her fathers abode to
Kolhapur . My grandfather Mr. P. B. Patil, a freedom
fighter who fought to free India from British empire
. He is a well known writer, poet, script writer,
director, a politician and a true and proud Gandhi
follower. Most of all he is a great human being.
He has always lead his life from front he never
quitted from the battle field may it be a freedom
struggle, a political fight or a deed to save humanity.
Presently he is 83 years old. I have four maternal
uncles, who are my base for whatever I am in my
life.

My mother and I moved to Kolhapur where we stayed with my uncle Kamalakar Patil. My mother completed her studies by studying externally in Shivaji University and completed her education from Bachelor of Arts to Master of Arts. While I was schooling in a reknowed school in Kolhapur , St. Xaviers High School . Where I did my primary and secondary education. I passed out from school in the year 1990. Further, moving ahead in my life I joined a Polytechnic college in Sangli, where I completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. I did my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from DKTE college, in Ichalkaranji.

Graduated
in 1998-99, struggled to get a job in Mechanical
field as the market trends for mechanical industry
was going through a very rough patch, it was a
period of global trade recession. Most of the
companies were laying off people, VRS scheme were
being actively carried out in most of the companies.
It was a chaotic time, everybody was boggled by
the market recession. I made up my mind and took
a new step by transferring my career from Mechanical
to Information technology industry, as the industry
was growing very rapidly and this was specifically
market boom period before the 2000 IT bust. I
joined a small company called Nugenix systems
as a Creative designer, for one year. Further
I moved to Pune and joined a software company
Vertex
software, as a designer I stayed in vertex
for three and half years where I changed my roles
from creative designer to design team leader.
In this period, I got a opportunity to travel
to the land of rising sun, Japan . After, Vertex
I joined Digitalthink
which is now Convergys
in Hyderabad , Andhra Pradesh, as a Senior Content
Developer. For one and half year, I worked with Convergys and recently from May 2005, onwards I joined Kanbay as a Usability Consultant in their User Experience group. Currently working with Intel, Bangalore from 2006 onwards till present day as a Human factors engineer.

My family consists of my
Mother, wife, son and myself. I got married to Anjali
on 2nd June 2001 and happily enjoying life from
last three and half years. We have a son, Tanish
( meaning Tan = body and ish = ishwar i.e. God )
. Anjali, a housewife is Commerce graduate with
a PGD in Business Administration. She is a very
good cook, besides she is incharge of of all the
house chores and she keeps herself busy by taking
care of my hypersensitive kid " Tanish".
Tanish is presently eighteen months old. He was
born on 3 rd of April 2003, in Sangli. To get to
