A
Web application is a extension of web server. Most
of today's business applications are driven by web
applications. Web applications move beyond simple
information delivery. They provide effective means
to create, connect, calculate,collabarate, interact
and much more. Majority of my work experience involves
working on web application prototyping. I was involved
in start phases of product development life cycle
from requirement analysis, conceptulization, design
and development of workable prototypes in HTML,
Javascript combination. My major task, most of the
times included to give the customer a cognitive
walkthrough of the prototype. Interacting on the
same , getting feedback, understand the need of
the customer and re-design the prototype to meet
the customer satisfaction and delight. Freezing
prototype screens was one of the main activity to
develop a product which is basically a iterative
process. The final and freezed prototype is then
passed over to development team to move further
in development of the full system. Please browse

E-learning
is a fastly growing and maturing domain. My work
in this domain involved conceptulizing,creating,
designing graphic composites, style guide, client
branding and developing the content in Flash mx
with externalize text support with xml techn ology.
In this domain I have worked with many fortune
500 clients from US like Salesforce.com, Copymax,
US Honda, Cisco to name a few.

Web
design is a need for todays business world. Designing
with simpliciy, effective and clear navigation
structure, plain and non-complex information architecture,
appropriate use of colors and graphics, browser
compatibility issues and last but not least designing
with user-center design approach. A lot of sites
which I have designed are more of corportate ones
with clients from US, Japan and Inda.

Usability
can be defined as, "The
effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction with
which specified users achieve specified goals in
particular environments" and Information
Architecture can be defined as,
"Information Architecture
is inherent, practical or theoretical knowledge
having to do with the presentation of written, spoken,
graphical or other information."
Both of the above mentioned areas are of my keen
interest, being the important components of any
product/web/application development, they emphasize
on creating something that is easy to use, easy
to learn, easy to get the desired result. I read
a lot about these areas and implement the principles
in my daily design or development work. I have a
sound knowledge of information architecture and
have implemented the concepts in various web design
projects. This part consists the portfolio of of
my project where IA was the base to organize and
build intranet website.

graphic is the
main ingredient in ehancing a visual presentation
of any application/design/product. It is said that
" a picture is worth a thousand word",
as per the proverb it is very clear that nowadays
all the websites/product/ applications use this
elements in different ways like for websites there
are Images, buttons, cliparts, color schemes etc.
for Product/application it can be Splash screens,
color schemes, Icons etc. This gallery is the collection
of some of these elements I have created or worked
